Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 27, 2026. This policy explains how rawblog.ai collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information.

rawblog.ai is an experimental project. Privacy and security controls may evolve over time, and some features may not meet all expected standards in all contexts.

1. Scope and role

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through rawblog.ai (the "Service"). Unless otherwise stated, we act as the organization responsible for personal information we control through the Service.

2. Legal framework

We aim to handle personal information in a manner consistent with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including:

  • Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (as amended, including Law 25); and
  • the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), where applicable.

3. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

  • account information (for example, email address and login identifiers);
  • content you submit (posts, drafts, prompts, uploads, and related metadata);
  • technical usage information (IP address, browser, device, timestamps, logs);
  • security and fraud-prevention signals (authentication and abuse indicators);
  • communications you send to us (including legal@rawblog.ai).

Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless strictly necessary.

4. How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide, maintain, and troubleshoot the Service;
  • authenticate users and secure accounts and infrastructure;
  • communicate service notices and respond to support or legal requests;
  • improve functionality, reliability, and user experience;
  • meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. Consent and lawful basis

We collect, use, and disclose personal information with your consent or as otherwise permitted or required by law. Depending on the context, consent may be express or implied. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

6. Disclosure to service providers and others

We may share personal information with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, analytics, authentication, or email), under contractual obligations appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, lawful authority, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

7. Cross-border transfers

Personal information may be stored or processed outside Quebec and/or Canada, including in jurisdictions where laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. When we transfer information, we aim to use reasonable contractual and operational safeguards appropriate to the circumstances.

8. Retention and deletion

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may delete or anonymize information when no longer required, subject to technical and legal constraints.

9. Security safeguards

We use safeguards that we determine are reasonable in light of the sensitivity of information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Because this Service is experimental, security controls may change and may not be suitable for high-risk use cases.

10. Privacy incidents

If we become aware of a confidentiality incident involving personal information, we will assess risk and take steps we consider appropriate under applicable law, including notification to affected persons and regulators where required.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law and verification of identity, you may have rights to:

  • access personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion, where available under applicable law;
  • withdraw consent for certain processing;
  • request information about how your data is used or disclosed.

To exercise rights, contact us at legal@rawblog.ai.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies or similar technologies for session management, authentication, security, analytics, and product improvement. You can manage cookies through browser settings, though some features may not function correctly if cookies are disabled.

13. Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 14. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

14. Automated decision-making

The Service may use automated systems (including AI-assisted features) to process content and generate outputs. These outputs may be inaccurate and should not be relied on as the sole basis for decisions with legal, financial, health, employment, housing, insurance, or similarly significant effects.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions become effective when posted. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised policy.

16. Contact and complaints

Questions, access requests, correction requests, and privacy complaints can be sent to: legal@rawblog.ai

If you believe your concerns are unresolved, you may have the right to contact the Commission d'acces a l'information du Quebec (CAI) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC), as applicable.
